Toronto: January 2018.

Real Estate Re-sale transactions finished off Strong in Toronto for 2017 with a total of 92,394 sales reported. This is just under the record sales of 2016 but still strong enough to keep price growth moving upward as the average selling price was up 12.7% in 2017 compared to the previous year.

Interstingly Condo price appreciation has now outpaced that out traditional houses in Toronto with condo values jumping 17.9% and inventory hitting a low.

As we move into 2018 we are already seeing low inventory levels and with new government policies in play now i'm confident we'll see even higher price growth as the year progresses.
