Continued Record Growth for House and Condo Sales in Toronto for December and all of 2016 as Prices Rise and inventory remains low!
For the second consecutive year House and Condo sales in Toronto have set a record for sales. 113,133 sales transactions happened in Toronto in 2016 and increase of 11.8% from 2015! The average selling price UP 17.3% year over year!
As well December sales were strong again with 5,338 sales and increase of 8.6% compared with December last year as average selling prices increased for December by 20%.
Prices have risen in Toronto due mostly to lack of inventory in the marketplace. Down to its lowest in half a decade.
Condos in certain neighborhoods are now in as much demand as houses in the downtown core.
